ERASMUS PLUS TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

Our Erasmus+ KA1 training courses are specially designed for teachers, adult educators, and private/public organisations’ staff, within the learning mobility action of the Erasmus+ KA1 programme.

Our training courses are eligible to be 100% funded by the Erasmus plus key action 1 (KA1 learning mobility of individuals).
Teachers, trainers, headmasters and any other school, university and adult education staff are all eligible to receive an Erasmus plus grant covering all the training course costs including travel, board and lodging and course fee.

Inclusive education and special needs, the Italian experience of overcoming student segregation

In Italy, 97% of children with diagnosed illnesses or special educational needs study in public schools.

This is the result of political will and efforts over the past 40 years and is a unique practice in the entire European Union.

Based on the experience and practice accumulated over the past decades, Italian schools have a consolidated methodology and toolkit for implementing inclusive education. The course provides an insight into this and introduces the theoretical foundations. Through practical tasks, it also shares tools with participants that they will be able to integrate into their daily work at home.

Target group: teachers, educators, trainers, career counselors, school principals, educational professionals, educational consultants.

The aim of the training is to

• present strategies, methods and tools for inclusive education
• present the Italian experiences and results achieved over the last 40 years
• convince participants that it is possible to overcome segregated education
• provide participants with concrete tools to do so

After completing the course, participants will know

• the principles, benefits and values ​​of inclusive education,
• the daily practice of inclusion in Italian schools
• the tools for implementing inclusive education
